STEAM Colloquium

We invite experts in their fields to come to SASA and present their research, both to foster students' creative thinking skills across scientific disciplines and to promate a culture of debate where ideas circulate freely

  • 1-4 lectures per month
  • Small group seminars focused on Q&A discussion

STEAM Week

A week-long student-run series of Humanities & Arts activities and events allowing students to experience and appreciate the value of interdisciplinary learning.

Open SASA

A student-run fair showcasing the talents and intellectual abilities of SASA students while highlighting the breadth and sophistication of our on-campus facilities. Students organize over 25 booths pertaining to technology. science, culture, and art. The event is attended by 2.000 people including parents, community members, and key public figures.

Maker Studio Science and Technology Startup Camp

A Research & Development program in which students design and carry out innovative projects in a studio/lab while using cutting edge technologies such as laser cutters, 3D printers, ceramic devices, etc.Because the studios are continuously accessible, students have been able to create their own startups yielding eamings that have benefited the greater community.

Students participate in a national or international camp where they learn about entrepreneurship, actively engage in simulations, partner with other schools, partake in open discussions with leading scientific experts, and cultivate their entrepreneurial spirits. This program is supported by the Imagination and Development (I&D) Department of the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity.

Student Council

Provides activities for students to cultivate their leadership skills and community spirit through programs students plan and carry out themselves.

Student Club & Organizations

Students organize and run a variety of clubs that reflect their skills, hobbies, aptitudes, and needs. There are clubs for media, reading music, science, art, cooking pilosophy, math, studying and more. SASA has about 36 student clubs and 5 sports clubs, of which students can join at least one club a year.
